Happy Birthday Daddy! :D

Hahaha, wanted make a birthday breakfast surprise for him cos I've never cooked breakfast for him in my entire life. And so, the very smart me woke up 1 hour late, thus the surprise failed in smoothness but it was still a surprise :D

I had like, mini sandwiches : Toasted bread + Bacon + Cheese
Rey's Original Fries : Break skin + Peanut butter (looks just like overdone fries hahaha)
Asian delicacies : Rice + Fried egg

I win.
To quote my dad "HAHA what type of Nasi Lemak is this". LOL.

So anyway, it's really funny, and
HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONEEEEEE ! :D
It's now 8.16am and I'm going to rush off, chiong to Mummy and Popo's house to pick up stuff, chiong to church to buy stuff, go for a meeting, and thenn....dundundun!

And THIS is my new hairstyle(Y)

Nice right! :D
Yeah I like this hairstyle hehe.
Although day 2 of this hairstyle seems quite weird because i have bed hair and can't wash till tmr. So... ahh whatever.

This is one of the most successful hairstyles ever hehehehe. :D I like!

School from 4-6pm later, this is such a waste of timeeee! But I can't wait to end school and chiong off the church to meet the rest :) So fun so fun. This season, I' gna grow like there's no tomorrow and learn like a lot a lot. So thankful for the privilege I have for leaders to really believe in me. PTL! :D I'm so glad to be rising up as a generation with Anderlin and Li Ping! :) Sisters ftw. Okay I can't express this joy and gratefulness with words.

Downloaded praise and worship songs and randomly thought of songs sung in St Marg's last time. Hey i found some of them! :) So yay I'm happily listening to them now while packing my room and it's oh, such a joy. :)

The day ahead will be more than fine, more than joyous, it'll be something language cannot describe. Wah I love my life.

And so I changed my hairstyle again

And this time i have zero regrets because it's so pweetty naozxz. :D HEHEHE.
Jean and Mel will get such a shock tmr. Not to mention K. And the rest of the class. And the TETL Lecturer who probably won't even remember I'm her module rep LOL. So anyway, I love my hair :D

I'm amazed

Hahaha so after celebrating my birthday with a sweet surprise on Wednesday, I'm just speechless that dear B1 celebrated my birthday after service again today (: Love you guys ttm (: It was so sweet seriously, I think my heart can just melt right now this instant. Was talking to Kareen and OCK, and then suddenly saw OCK glance at smth behind me and had the "secret!!!!!" face on, and the next thing i know, i turned round, saw a candle and liping popped right out from behind the chair with my birthday eggtarts hehe

It's like, slow motion seriously. Aw man so sweet. I think I really can melt right now. Excuse me while I do so. Hahaha. So so so so so thankful and grateful for loving CGmates who is always there and is more than friends, more than family. :) In fact, I can't wait for the day when we'll see each other's kids grow up etc. Gna be so awesome :)

So anyway, service was so amazing today! Loved the way our BF pledge amount was announced and i seriously almost cried after that. God is just so amazing :) A youth church CAN raise enough money for their own building! Can't wait man! BF saving officially starts in a week's time, but I'm so glad I've already managed to save! :) This house was built out of sacrifices, I'm gna carry on that culture and continue building our next house :)

School starts on Monday, can't say that I'm sad because in fact, I'm excited! I've learnt and done so much during the 6 weeks break and i think that it's time to face a new season of my life :) Plus, O levels people are ending Os in 3 weeks and it's THEIR turn to rise up, do things, learn things! :D Can't wait for people like pong and jingyi to be back on our team! And for people like Cheryl, Drusilla, Swee Tian, Chu Ting, Yun Ying, Shi Hua, even THERESA to be back with us :) Life will be so awesome! And Wei Le's As ending in 2 months and soon she'll be back too!

The future is so exciting!

SEVENTEEEEEEEEN :D

And so I'm finally 17 years old! (:
Rmb wishing to be 17 real fast so i'll feel i fit reading 17 mag. HAHA. But i've alr lost interest in that magazine.

Anyway, time just flew by with HOGC as my life. Hahaha. It's alr been 10.5 months and i'm happily in church, with no thoughts of leaving because after so long of my life, i've finally found somewhere, with substance. (:

So I really thank God for my birthday this year, for blessing me with so many things.

#1 Went shopping with my mom on Monday.
THANK GOD. Loads of clothes stocked up for the school term ahead. (:

And then today,
#2 I have really awesome, wonderful churchmates who stay far, and some not so far, away, who still came down to my workplace and gave me a huge huge surprise. I'm serious it was unbelievable. (:

Balloons they got me! :D

And my chocolate cake which tasted awesome :D

And the people who came! :D Anderlin, Jia Xian, Darren, Wenqi! (:

Surprised, happy, touched and feeling 100x loved. (:

Centre's principal heard the celebration and popped out, and gave me this as a birthday gift hahaha!

Anderlin came to lepak at my house for awhile, planned stuff.
Then
#3 Left house with family for a trial photoshoot. Hahaha. Trust me, that's one place you'll never wna go again. Their make up artiste are really quite horrible and everyone agreed that i can do better make up for myself and for things like gym comp or smth. Could choose 2 free photos so here they were. And these are the nicest among all. And they said it's unique and everything, but please I can think of better poses.

#4 And then to Singapore River for dinner!
Dinner was crazy.
Went to Jumbo Restaurant with family, grandma and uncle's family. Ate great food and all. AND THEN SURPRISE SURPRISE, my uncle actually bought me an ice cream cake from SWENSENS and got the restaurant to serve it. And then after putting the cake in front of my really surprised face, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" played and filled the restaurant, AND THE ENTIRE RESTAURANT CELEBRATED MY BIRTHDAY TOGETHER WITH ME OMG.
This is like beyong shocking, beyond surprising.
And then the best part?
My dad, stepmum and bro, actually bought me a MUSICAL BOX. Not just a musical box, BUT A PERSONALISED ONE. I swear I almost cried when i saw it. Seriously. MUSICAL BOX. I'VE BEEN WANTING ONE FOR YEARS. And this one is PERSONALISED OMG.

So in essence, I'm so so SO thankful for all the people in my life. I LOVE YOU ALL WHO HAVE WISHED ME HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SPENT MY BIRTHDAY WITH ME, AND SIMPLY LOVED ME :)

It's things like these that really keep me going on in life and loving people even more. So thankful for B1, and dear dear Anderlin (:

YEAH.
Leaders' Meeting last night was more than just powerful. Felt so close to pastors last night when he shared about things. Convicted to BE a leader, BE a church builder, BE a daughter. Not just through words, but through my every action.

BF2010 pledge day is today, AND IM SO EXCITED!
It's gna be my first ever BF and it's going to be so memoriable. (:
Can't wait!

I think I work well under stress

It's now 10:34 am on a Monday, and my assignments are due at 5pm.
Left with 2 running records and one final observation and if im hardworking enough i'll do a few more logs as appendices. (:

So yes, I really think I work really well under stress because it took me about 3 hours to finish 3 tasks today and when I first started out a few weeks ago attempting to start, and 2 hours later I was still stuck on the first paragraph. So yes, i'm effective today. (: Thank God (:

I know I can do this i can do this i can do this! (:

Yeap anyway, i'm so happy to be able to spend 101010 with my wonderful spiritual family in the amazing house of God. (: It was such a perfect day yesterday, really took the time to relax and enjoy myself with my brothers and sisters (:

Service was exciting as usual! :D Thank God for pastors who have gone through so much and are now imparting their values into our lives. (: I'm gna lead a debt free life! And I'm gna be a giver in the house of God (: BUILDING FUND 2010!

Celebration for Wei Ling's birthday was so funny too! :D
I mean it, I miss dancing and acting. (:
It was so fun rehearsing for the skit and learning the mass dance. Hehe. So for now, I'll be contented with what i'm doing now and when I can organise my time well, I might just join a second ministry. (: I'm not gna join a ministry because I want to enjoy myself but also to serve God to the fullest. (: Dance ministry, or library? haha. (: It's something to think about!

Anyway, I'm gna develop a love for Ananas for the next 4 months and it shall be my best friend together with bread, and the $1 noodles etc from Makan Place's chinese Nasi Lemak stall. No more kaki fuyon, yong taufu etc for the next 4 months!

Okay I'm going back to my assignments. (:
Need to start typing coherently like how I used to before, blasting all the chim words and trying to make my sentences as profound as possible hahahaha.

Dear God, let me honour my parents wholeheartedly

I don't like feeling the slightest bit annoyed by their actions. I don't like not liking things they do. I don't like not honouring my parents. It's still something I'm working on and still constantly struggling with. ): Oh man.

Oh well.
Faith arises when we read the bible.
After doing Task2 of IP assignment, I'm going to spend the next few hours together with my Father in heaven. And seek the discipleship, comfort and love there.

I'm doing IP Task 5 halfway

But anyway i shall do a random blog post just to keep my blog slightly more alive.

Hmm yeah so it's 641am now, and I'm gna leave the house in about an hour to go to the kindergarten! :D yes i know how much i complained having to go there during internship, but understand the difference between
1. Internship from 8-5, doing assignments and having no pay and during a really busy period of my life
2. Work from 8-12, simply there to play and help children, with $6 an hour and I'm not as busy as before
Hehe, i know i'm gna love working there.
Every single cent of my money earned shall go to BF 2010 :)
